How to Join

We know not everyone joining from Africa or the diaspora has the same internet strength, phone type, or time to troubleshoot. This page keeps the process simple.

Three Ways to Join

  1. Join directly through Zoom. If your app or browser works normally, use the published Zoom link on the event page.
  2. Get help through WhatsApp. If Zoom is confusing, your phone is older, or your connection is unstable, use the help path on the event page and ask for guidance before the event starts.
  3. Use the fallback path. If you cannot join live, check for the replay, audio recap, phone buddy option, or local watch hub information posted with the event.

Before the Event

  • Open the event page early and save the Zoom details somewhere easy to find.
  • Charge your phone and test your audio if possible.
  • If you think you may need help, ask early instead of waiting until the meeting has already started.
